We know nobody actually reads these, but we've tried to make ours as straightforward and fair as possible. We're not trying to trick you - we're just a small team building invoicing software. If anything seems unclear or unfair, please let us know at legal@invorce.com.
By using Invorce, you're agreeing to these terms. If something doesn't sit right with you, please reach out to us before using the service - we're happy to explain or discuss.
Invorce helps you create invoices, quotes, track time and expenses, manage customers, and accept payments. We also provide automated tax submission services to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) through Making Tax Digital integration.
We might need to update or change features from time to time to improve the service or fix issues. If we make major changes, we'll let you know in advance.
When you create an account:
We offer a free plan with limited features, and we have no plans to remove it. We genuinely believe in keeping invoicing accessible for everyone, especially freelancers and people just starting out.
That said, we're aware that literally every service that ever removed their free plan also said they wouldn't. We get the irony. So while we truly intend to keep the free plan forever, we're being honest and transparent by reserving the right to modify or discontinue it with 30 days notice - just in case circumstances change in ways we can't predict right now.
If we ever do have to change the free plan, we promise to give you plenty of warning and explain exactly why. No rug pulls, no sudden changes. That's not how we operate.
Let's be real: our £15/month pricing is designed for freelancers, sole traders, and small businesses. If you're running a multi-million pound operation through Invorce, that's awesome! But it also means you're getting incredible value compared to what we're charging.
Here's the thing - if a multi-million pound business used Invorce at £15/month, it would likely cost us more in server resources, database storage, bandwidth, and support than the £15 we're collecting. We'd literally lose money. Our pricing works because most of our users are small businesses with reasonable usage. Large-scale operations use significantly more resources, and we need to cover those costs to keep the lights on for everyone.
So here's our fair usage policy: If your business processes more than £250,000 in total invoice value per year through Invorce, we reserve the right to contact you to discuss moving to a higher pricing tier that better reflects your usage. We're not trying to gouge you - we just need to make sure large businesses pay enough to cover their actual costs and contribute fairly to the platform.
We'll always give you at least 30 days notice before any pricing changes take effect, and we'll work with you to find a fair arrangement. We're a small team building sustainable software, not a corporation trying to squeeze every penny out of you. So we will work with you to reach a fair price that works for both sides.
We may change our prices with 30 days notice. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
Here's what this means in plain English: If you use Invorce to do something illegal or harmful, and someone sues us because of it, you're responsible for that.
For example, if you send fraudulent invoices to people and they sue us, that's on you. This is fair because we can't control what you do with the platform.
Legal version: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Invorce from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party. This doesn't prevent you from suing us if we mess up - it just means you're responsible for your own actions.

We might need to update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll email you about it at least 30 days before they take effect. Small clarifications or bug fixes might happen without notice. If you keep using Invorce after we make changes, we'll assume you're okay with them.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
